On this Leap Day 2024 I invite you to a pilgrimage of mystery, a voyage of discovery. I invite you to join me June 3-13 in France, with Fr. Blaise Berg and 28 others, for a pilgrimage to the holy and beautiful places in Paris, Lisieux, the abbey of Le Mont Saint Michel on its island, and the abbey of Lucerne being rebuilt, to the gothic cathedrals of Rouen, Bayeux, and Caen, to William the Conqueror’s ruined castles and abbeys, and finally to the beaches of Normandy on the 80th anniversary of Operation Overlord, the storming of Nazi-occupied France that liberated the Eldest Daughter of the Church and ended the war in Europe. We will pray at the graves of 20,000 American and allied soldiers, visit the museums and walk the battlegrounds of the largest naval operation in history.
Two Masses will be offered every day, one in English and one in Latin, with confessions upon request. The cost is $4,000, and we have six seats left. We depart at 8:30pm from San Francisco on June 2, and return to San Francisco at 1pm on June 13. If you are not from the Bay Area, our travel agency will arrange flights from your local city of departure. If you would like to join us, please email me for a brochure at [email protected].
